What are Your Health Challenges This Holiday Season?
This is a subject that challenges most of us during the holiday season. How do I make it through the holiday season without going overboard on food, drink and merriment? How do I say no to that cookie? I should really pass on that 3rd cocktail. Where is the gym again? But I’m having so much fun! Tis the season.
Here are a couple of tips that might just get you through it all this holiday
Relax-The holidays are challenging. Why pile on additional stress by berating yourself over a cookie? Be mindful. Practice moderation and enjoy. You’ll be happier and your family and friends will like you better for it.
Practice Self Care-Make time for yourself. Get a massage, go out for a nice dinner, laugh and smile. Too many times we worry about pleasing others and lose sight of ourselves. Sometimes it is all about you.
Set achievable health goals-Exercise at least 3 times a week. Pass on that second helping of pie. Create and share healthy recipes.
The holidays are all about the spirit of giving and being with family and friends. Have fun! Be yourself and enjoy. If you over do it a little, you’re cool.
